I wanted to send you some pics of Lulu at my work at the marina. She is SO smart! Everyone absolutely loves her! She whines when she has to go pee pee or poop, sleeps in her crate from 10:00 pm - 4:30 am (hoping to push this to 5:30) knows how to walk on a leash already and sit and learning to stay... your dogs must have a fabulous bloodline. We are enjoying her so much, a bit tired because we are watching her constantly still, so she learns what she can and can't do. We know if we are good from the beginning, then she will turn out to be a wonderfully adapted and happy dog! 8/31/18
Hi Doug and Robin, We just wanted to send you a quick update/thank you on Harold Lake Swanson! He is beyond what we dreamt of for puppy #2. He is full of so much love and is all brains! He sits, lays down, shakes (with both hands), comes, stays, AND his favorite trick, which is playing dead! Ha!!! He is fully potty trained and CLOSE to not needing his crate any more. Harold is AMAZING with all children – the neighbor kids are obsessed with him and he is remarkable with our niece and nephew (he picks up their toys for them and brings them to the kids… ha!). We want to thank you a million times over again for giving us one heck of a dog to love on. He makes an amazing addition to our family and we are beyond lucky. He is spoiled and loved (see picture named “Harold 3”). Thank you again!!! We are in love. M. and D. Picture of Harold below 10/30/16

9/9/15 Hi Doug and Robyn, I wanted to send you an update on Tanner. He is doing SO well! He's been an amazing dog and everyone who meets him loves him. We can tell he was brought up in a wonderful place with lots of love and care. He did great on our ride home from your place. He never got sick or had any accidents and we even took him to the Mississippi headwaters at Lake Itasca. He has barely had any accidents in the house and is already going to the bathroom outside in his designated spot and knows the command sit. Tanner starts puppy classes in the next week or two. We took him to his second vet appointment this morning and he's already grown 2 pounds in the past week (already 9.5 pounds)! He's very healthy. We took him up to the cabin over Labor Day weekend and he loved the adventure. Thank you for breeding such a wonderful dog. He is so well-mannered and Josh and I are very happy! We hope all is well with you and your family. Best, Kristen and Josh |

Hello, Robyn & Doug!
Let me begin by saying what a pleasure it was meeting you guys! Thank you for making time for us and giving us a tour of your wonderful home and facility! I'm happy to say that Willow's trip back to Duluth was a home run! Not a peep out of her :) Such a good girl! And though it has only been a few days, Willow has already brought so much joy to our lives! She's bonding very well with all of us. It's especially heartwarming watching the bond between our son & her grow! She has been exploring her surroundings and seems to be adapting well. She loves exploring with her mouth especially! LoL! A few of her favorite things: grass, poop, ankles and rocks! Very much a puppy thing, I'm sure.
Again, thanks so much for everything! Like I said, I will continue to keep you updated on how Willow is doing and send pictures. Attached please find a few that I have taken. :) Enjoy!

Wanted to pass on how much of a joy Lacy Blue has been for us. She follows Cathy around everywhere and is amazingly well behaved and calm for a pup. Thanks for making her available.

The picture above is a photo of Blaze who is enjoying the Halloween season. A beautiful and loved puppy.
Hi Doug and Robyn,
We bought a puppy from you nearly three years ago. Shelby is such a wonderful girl! We are so grateful for her. She is Dolly’s litter sister.
I still enjoy following along on your website. I noticed the latest batch of puppies has been sold. Then I started reading to “catch up.”
I’m so sorry to hear that Milo passed away. He was a handsome fella and passed along many wonderful traits to his puppies.
He and Elsa were a wonderful breeding pair.
Our Shelby is sweet, intelligent, calm, and beautiful. She has become such an integral part of our family.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for producing such wonderful puppies!
I’m praying you are all well and that your life is filled with much of the joy you bring to others.
Karen
